In this role, you will manage job cost tracking, billings, change orders, and WIP reporting while partnering closely with project managers and field teams. You will prepare financial reports, monitor budgets, and ensure accurate, timely project financials. Responsibilities Manage project‑level accounting for concrete construction jobs, including job cost tracking and budget monitoring Prepare, review, and analyze project cost reports, forecasts, and variance explanations for project managers Process project billings, change orders, lien waivers, and subcontractor pay applications accurately and on time Coordinate closely with operations and field teams to capture labor, equipment, and material costs Support month‑end close activities, job reconciliations, and work‑in‑progress (WIP) reporting Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, contracts, and construction industry standards Assist with audit requests, documentation, and financial reporting related to projects Use accounting and construction management software to maintain accurate, organized financial records Required Skills Construction accounting Job cost tracking Project billing and invoicing WIP (work‑in‑progress) reporting Financial analysis and forecasting General ledger and reconciliations Excel and financial reporting tools Construction accounting software Contract and change order administration Lien waivers and subcontractor payment processing #J-18808-Ljbffr American Accounting Association
