About the Position

We have an urgent and exclusive locums position for experienced CRNAs to support a  Level I Trauma Center in Pittsburgh. The client has a new Chief in place and has updated both the required case mix and scheduling expectations .

This is a high-acuity, medically directed environment seeking providers comfortable with a broad and complex scope of cases.

Practice Setting

• Level I Trauma Center

• Medical Direction model

• Supervision ratio: 1:3

• RN-only state (no AAs)

• EMR: EPIC

• Seeking 3 FTE CRNAs

Schedule Options

• 7PM–7AM

• 3PM–11PM

• 14-hour shifts

• 16-hour shifts

• 3x12s preferred

⚠️ 10-hour shifts will not be considered
⚠️ Must be flexible to mix shifts to reach full-time hours

• Guaranteed 36–38 hours per week

• Minimum commitment: 2 days per week OR 2 weeks per month

• Coverage: July – Ongoing (as soon as credentialed)

REQUIRED Case Mix Competency

Providers must be able to perform all of the following :

• General

• Orthopedics

• ENT

• Neuro (including craniotomies)

• Level I Trauma

• Thoracic

• Cardiac (Open Heart)

• Vascular

• Urology

• Transplants

• EP

• GI

• Healthy Pediatrics (10+ months; tongue ties, tonsils, etc.)

This is a high-acuity assignment — comfort with complex and trauma-level cases is essential.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years CRNA experience (to present)

• Active Pennsylvania License required

  • Will consider licensing candidates with full-time availability

  • RN Compact not accepted

• ACLS & BLS required

• PA Child Abuse Clearance required

• Preference for candidates willing to credential at secondary affiliated site
