We're seeking an experienced Transit Operations Manager to lead our campus shuttle system, overseeing safe, reliable, and customer-focused transportation services serving nearly 2.5 million passenger trips annually. Key Responsibilities: * Lead, coach, and develop a team of shuttle drivers, dispatchers, and support staff while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and customer service. * Manage daily shuttle operations, including routing, scheduling, service reliability, vehicle availability, and performance monitoring. * Analyze ridership trends and operational data to improve service efficiency and enhance the rider experience. * Ensure compliance with DOT, DMV, OSHA, ADA, UC, and other applicable transportation regulations. * Lead emergency response planning and operational continuity during service disruptions or critical incidents. * Partner with internal departments, vendors, and external stakeholders to improve transportation services and implement new technologies. * Oversee vendor performance, service contracts, and operational initiatives that support long-term transportation goals. * Manage budgets, staffing resources, and operational priorities while continuously identifying opportunities for process improvement.
