Bookkeeper PositionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving service company that values accuracy, efficiency, and integrity.ResponsibilitiesRecord and process journal entries using QuickBooks accounting software is required.Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking.Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify account balances align with supporting documentation.Prepare financial reports, including statements of financial position and income statements, in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).Support budgeting processes by tracking expenses and providing detailed account analysis for management review.SkillsMust be proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks.Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including double entry bookkeeping and financial concepts.Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes, journal entries, and account analysis.Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately for data entry tasks.Familiarity with payroll processing, tax experience, and budgeting procedures.Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills to ensure precise financial recordkeeping.Work Location: In person Compensation: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
