Interim Accounting Manager

What You’ll Do Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities. Prepare and present monthly financial statements with clear, insightful reporting for executive management and the Board. Lead the annual budget process in partnership with the leadership team, ensuring accurate forecasts and allocations. Manage cash flow and recommend strategies to maintain healthy reserves. Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and oversee the annual audit process. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures for continued growth and efficiency. Administer employee benefits, including retirement and time‑off programs, with a focus on employee satisfaction and compliance. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). At least 5 years of accounting and financial management experience, non‑profit experience is a plus. Proficiency with SAGE accounting software and hands‑on payroll experience . Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience preparing financial reports and reconciliations. Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities, with a high attention to detail. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
