Senior Accountant, Investments

Process investment and trust account transactions Prepare daily reconciliations and recurring accounting activities Prepare assigned financial and operational reports Support month-end and year-end accounting processes Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies Assist with special projects and departmental initiatives Balance detail-oriented processing work with analysis, reporting, problem solving, and process improvement Manage significant daily transaction volume and recurring deadlines Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field Five years of related experience in accounting, finance, auditing, or banking related functions Strong Microsoft Excel skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a high-volume environment Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy Must hold a current temple recommend if endowed, or be temple worthy as certified by an ecclesiastical leader if not endowed Experience in investment accounting, trust accounting, banking, or financial services preferred Public accounting experience preferred Familiarity with fiduciary, nonprofit, or trust accounting environments preferred CPA, CMA, CFA, or similar certification preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in investment and trust accounting, financial reporting, and process improvement while managing high transaction volumes and deadlines.
