Legal Assistant

Our client, a reputable legal firm specializing in consumer collections and judgment executions in West Virginia and Virginia, is seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to join their team. As a Legal Assistant, you will be an integral part of the legal support staff, assisting attorneys with various administrative and legal tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Legal Assistant

Location: Clarksburg, WV

Pay Range: $13 - 18 based on experience

Shift: 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Assist attorneys with handling incoming and outgoing calls and documents

• Draft and process legal documents accurately and efficiently

• Respond to client and legal party inquiries professionally

• Coordinate with courts and other legal entities as needed

• Manage high-volume, detail-oriented tasks independently

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a legal or office setting preferred

• High School diploma or GED required

• Proficiency in Word and Excel

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
