Job Description

Our client seeks a Legal Secretary/Assistant/Paralegal - Personal Injury/Workers Compensation to join their growing team.

The Legal Secretary/Assistant/Paralegal - Personal Injury/Workers Compensation position is a full-time, direct hire position where you will earn up to $62,000 per year based on your experience. You will work Monday – Friday 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm, 100% onsite. Plus, enjoy an excellent benefits package.

As Legal Secretary/Assistant/Paralegal - Workers Compensation/Workers Compensation, you will be responsible for supporting attorneys by assisting with case management. In addition, you will be responsible for:

Scheduling trials, hearings, depositions, mediations and more
Drafting and filing legal documents
Coordinating document signing
Managing attorneys’ schedules, ensuring deadlines are met
Handling client calls
Ensuring files are ready for every step of the pre-litigation and litigation process
Collecting medical records, bills and subrogation liens
Coordinating medical expert conferences and IMEs
Conducting investigative work
Auditing case files to ensure readiness for settlement/trial/hearing
Tracking legal expenses and assisting with paying case-related costs
Reviewing case data to ensure timely action on all files
Monitoring case progression
Assisting with case intake
Supporting attorneys and leadership in marketing efforts
Perform other duties as assigned

To be considered for this Legal Secretary/Assistant/Paralegal - Personal Injury/Workers Compensation opportunity, you must have prior legal or law firm experience. In addition, you must have:

Experience in Personal Injury or Workers Compensation
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
Paralegal certificate preferred
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Ability to navigate complex legal processes efficiently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid work ethic
