Job Summary:
The Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist (CCL TECH) position is based in Houston, Texas. This role involves collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team in the delivery of patient care within the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The position requires a focus on patient safety, procedural support, and technical proficiency to ensure optimal outcomes during cardiac procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification(s) in Cardiovascular Interventional Technology, completion of relevant educational requirements or degree, Texas state licensure if applicable, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or similar setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with invasive radiology procedures, familiarity with radiation safety procedures, and ability to perform quality assurance on radiology equipment.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process, administering contrast when necessary, ensuring image quality, monitoring patient data, assisting with accreditation efforts, and participating in emergency call duties. The role emphasizes safe patient care, adherence to organizational policies, ongoing professional development, and mentorship of less experienced staff.
