Job Summary:
The IT Consultant will provide cloud security consulting and architecture expertise across cloud environments, with a focus on data protection, identity and access management, network security, privacy, and risk assessment. The role will assess cloud architectures and data flows, identify security gaps, recommend remediation strategies, and evaluate security risks associated with AI and GenAI solutions. GCP experience is preferred, while candidates with strong AWS or Azure cloud security experience will also be considered.


Key Responsibilities
• Assess cloud architectures from data security, privacy, and risk perspectives.
• Review IAM, network security, segmentation, encryption, key management, and data access controls.
• Assess and implement security controls for PII, PCI, and other regulated customer data.
• Review data flows across cloud services, APIs, databases, storage, AI and virtual agent platforms, and on-premises systems.
• Perform threat modeling, architecture risk reviews, and security assessments.
• Identify security gaps and provide risk ratings and remediation recommendations.
• Assess GenAI and AI security risks, including data leakage, prompt and context exposure, model input and output handling, and knowledge-store access.
• Review logging, monitoring, auditability, SIEM integration, and data retention and deletion controls.
• Evaluate security architectures and controls against organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Provide security guidance to technical and business stakeholders on cloud, data, API, and AI security.


Required Qualifications
• Strong experience in Cloud Security Architecture across GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong understanding of IAM, encryption, secrets and key management, network security, firewalls, and private connectivity.
• Experience with API security, OAuth, mTLS, token management, API gateways, and service-to-service authentication.
• Experience securing PII, PCI, or other regulated data.
• Knowledge of SIEM, security monitoring, audit trails, and logging.
• Experience with threat modeling and architecture risk assessments.
• Ability to assess security risks across cloud, application, data, network, and integration architectures.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Qualifications
• Hands-on GCP security experience, including IAM, VPC/Shared VPC, Cloud Run/GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, KMS, and Secret Manager.
• Experience with Conversational AI, Virtual Agents, or GenAI security.
• Knowledge of telephony/SIP and contact center platforms.
• Experience with PCI DSS, NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or financial services security.
• Familiarity with AI data governance and model security.
