Payroll Clerk

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and looking to grow your payroll and accounting career? We are seeking a Payroll Clerk to join a busy accounting team in Tulsa. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting payroll operations in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do

• Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing
  
• Process employee pay changes and payroll updates
  
• Process employment verifications
  
• Pull and review daily time records to ensure payroll readiness
  
• Track regular and overtime hours for accurate pay calculations
  
• Maintain payroll records and employee files
  
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries and help resolve discrepancies
  
• Prepare check requests for items processed through Accounts Payable
  
• Assist with timely filing and payroll documentation
  
• Support special projects and other payroll initiatives as needed
  

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
  
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  
• Strong organizational and time management skills
  
• 1+ years of recent experience assisting in payroll

Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
