School-Based Physical Therapist - Farmington, New York

Make a meaningful impact as a Physical Therapist supporting young learners at a dynamic educational center in Rochester, NY. This contract opportunity involves working on-site with preschool students (ages 3-5), guiding them through developmental milestones during both the extended school year (ESY) and into the first months of the new school year (NSY). Key Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in New York State
• Experience or strong interest in working with preschool-aged children in a school setting
• Solid understanding of pediatric and school-based PT best practices
• Ability to conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication and organizational skills to partner with faculty and families
• Commitment to providing hands-on, compassionate support to children with varying needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to a caseload of 25-30 preschoolers
• Conduct evaluations and design appropriate therapy plans for each child
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of interventions and student progress
• Adapt activities to enhance students' participation, mobility, and independence in the classroom and school environment
• Attend relevant meetings and contribute insight on student well-being and growth
