As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare manufacturing location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and direct guests in accordance with site-specific procedures. Document patrol observations, incidents, and irregularities in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site personnel. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
