Responsibilities
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines.
- Applies critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to patient care and team coordination.
- Administers medications and monitors patient responses, ensuring accuracy and safety in documentation.
- Documents nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes; maintains patient safety, privacy, and comfort.
- Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to adjust care plans as needed.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (CA RN) or eligibility to practice in the state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an acute care or telemetry setting; telemetry experience preferred
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program
- Ability to work nights and perform in an inpatient acute care environment
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
