Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant

North Knoxville is seeking Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) to join a well-established, collaborative anesthesia team offering strong autonomy, diverse case mix, and flexible scheduling options. North Knoxville Medical Center is a modern acute care hospital in Powell, TN, designed to optimize both patient experience and provider workflow.

Total Rewards Salary: $240K $250K (call-taking)

Sign-on Incentive: $75K (flexible options available)

Case Assignment & Schedule

• Schedule: Flexible scheduling available
• Orthopedics, General surgery, Adult ENT, GI

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
