Count Room Clerk

Job Description Position Summary The Count Room Clerk is responsible for accurately counting, verifying, and recording cash and other monetary instruments in a secure environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work efficiently while standing for extended periods. Monday - Friday from 10 am to 6 pm. Key Responsibilities Accurately count and verify cash, coins, and other monetary items Maintain strict adherence to internal controls, procedures, and security protocols Record and report totals with a high level of accuracy Identify and report discrepancies or variances Ensure all work is completed in compliance with regulatory requirements Physical Requirements Ability to stand for the majority of the shift Frequent pushing, pulling, and bending Ability to lift and move items as needed Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods Qualifications Prior experience in banking, cash handling, or the gaming industry preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling money Ability to work in a fast-paced, secure environment High level of integrity and reliability Licensing Requirements Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) license preferred Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an IGB license (assistance will be provided if not currently licensed) #J-18808-Ljbffr
