Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to assist our head chef in the daily operations of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the kitchen staff, ensuring that all food is prepared according to set standards, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Qualifications Proven experience working as a Sous Chef or in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and practices. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of food safety regulations. Responsibilities Collaborate with the head chef to create and execute menu items. Supervise and train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures. Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipe and presentation standards. Maintain inventory of food supplies and place orders as needed. Monitor kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality of service. Assist in developing new recipes and menu ideas. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
