Accounting Clerk

Beacon Hill is hiring an Accounting Clerk for a well-established nonprofit organization on a temp-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting career while supporting a mission-driven organization funded through government grants and community programs. The Accounting Clerk will assist with accounts payable, reconciliations, data entry, and general accounting support in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Process vendor invoices and assist with accounts payable functions Enter and maintain accurate financial data within the accounting system Assist with bank and balance sheet reconciliations Support expense tracking and documentation for grant-funded programs Maintain vendor records and organize accounting files Assist with month-end close activities and audit preparation Respond to internal and external accounting inquiries Qualifications 1+ years of accounting, accounts payable, or bookkeeping experience Nonprofit experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Excel, including sorting, filtering, and basic formulas Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
