Business Analyst 2 (Order Management Specialist-EDI)

Summary:

· We’re in search of a Business Analyst (Order Management Specialist-EDI) responsible to ensure orders are successfully received and submitted in NERP via EDI, SPACE, or manual methods, adhering to Client' policies and agreements. Looking for someone with Order management & customer-facing B2B experience. Any ERP experience is required, SAP is a big plus. EDI experience or knowledge is strongly preferred.

Job Title: Business Analyst (Order Management Specialist-EDI)

Location: Plano TX 75023

Duration: 12 Month contract with possibility of extension

Status: (Onsite)

KEY RESPONSIBILITES/REQUIREMENTS:
Role & Responsibilities

· Ensure orders are successfully received and submitted in NERP via EDI, SPACE, or manual methods, adhering to Client' policies and agreements.

· Manage account portfolio, handle purchase order revisions, track delivery dates, verify and adjust PO prices, and process sales returns in alignment with company policies.

· Update, and maintain customer and order data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

· Review and validation price adjustment chargeback claims with finance and Sales.

· Point of contact to help Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues related to orders, including addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.

· Work closely with sales, supply chain, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment.

· Generate reports on open orders, price discrepancies, shipped orders, and aged orders.

· Assist the team on various projects as needed.

Skills needed

· Bachelor's degree in a related business field.

·3-5 years of experience in order management or a related field.

· Proficiency in SAP and EDI for order processing.

· Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

· Ability to multitask efficiently and work under pressure.

· Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

· Knowledge of builder systems, such as Supply Pro and KOVA

Skills & Tools
Order management & customer-facing experience:
Customer-facing B2B experience is very important.
Experience handling internal issue resolution across multiple departments.
ERP & EDI:
Any ERP experience is required, SAP is a big plus (they currently use SAP).

EDI experience or knowledge is strongly preferred.

Excel: Basic skills; basic formulas and occasional VLOOKUP.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is $40 to $42/hour
