Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Long-Term Care (LTC) is responsible for assisting and supervising the daily nursing activities within the facility to ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations. The RN plays a key role in maintaining high-quality care standards for residents by providing skilled nursing care, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and overseeing nursing operations during their shift. Responsibilities:

• Assist and supervise day-to-day nursing activities within the facility.
• Ensure nursing practices comply with federal, state, and facility guidelines and regulations.
• Provide skilled nursing care, including patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing activities and patient records.
• Support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives in patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or related settings.
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience in long-term care or senior care settings.
• Knowledge of interdisciplinary team collaboration.
• Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work if applicable.

• May require coordination with nursing leadership and facility management.

Scheduling:

• Day shift schedule as assigned within the facility.
• Shift patterns and hours determined by facility needs and nursing management.
