Key qualifications:
- Valid Special Education certification.
- Experience teaching high school students in a special education setting.
- Strong knowledge and/or teaching background in Math or Science.
- Ability to adapt curriculum and instruction to meet individual student goals.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
What you’ll accomplish:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs), aligning with students' learning profiles.
- Deliver engaging and meaningful math or science instruction tailored for diverse learners.
- Utilize data and observation to modify teaching approaches, ensuring effective student support.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and participatory classroom environment.
- Work productively with fellow educators, families, and support teams.
- Participate in school year activities, including Full School Year (FSY) and Non-School Year (NSY) instructional sessions.
