Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic testing, and creating tailored care strategies
• Identifying and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues, working alongside physicians or independently as your credentials allow
• Educating patients and families on wellness, prevention, and management of health conditions
• Prescribing medications and treatments within the established scope of practice

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Oklahoma
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
