- \n
- Lead client-facing Epic data acquisition engagements end to end scope the required data with client stakeholders, define the extraction approach, and drive delivery against the VytlAIQ data input matrix. \n
- Partner with client Epic teams (Application Coordinators, report writers, interface analysts, and security/privacy staff) to secure access, agree on extraction methods, and remove blockers. \n
- Travel to client health system sites to lead on-site data acquisition work, discovery sessions, and issue resolution. \n
- Navigate the customer's organization — coordinating across their IT, Epic/informatics, and operations teams — to align priorities, engage the right stakeholders, and keep extraction work on track. \n
- Serve as VytlOne's primary on-site technical point of contact during client engagements, representing the Data Acquisition Team professionally with senior client stakeholders. \n
- Design and oversee extraction of Epic data using both reporting tools (Clarity, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer) and interface methods (Epic Bridges, HL7 v2, FHIR R4, SMART on FHIR). \n
- Define and document interface and report specifications for required feeds, including prescription orders, patient encounters/discharges, covered-entity referrals, scheduled patients, location/unit, insurance crosswalk, and provider credentialing, as well as HL7 ADT, SIU, and REF messages. \n
- Own the mapping of client-specific Epic data to VytlOne's canonical data model, and maintain the data input matrix as the source of truth for each client's feeds. \n
- Establish reusable extraction patterns, onboarding playbooks, and standards that shorten client implementation timelines and improve consistency. \n
- Lead validation, reconciliation, and quality checks on extracted data; confirm completeness and accuracy before hand-off to downstream platform and analytics teams. \n
- Serve as the senior escalation point for complex integration issues at the seams between client Epic systems, VytlOne's data platform, and external partners. \n
- Ensure all data acquisition activity complies with HIPAA, executed BAAs, minimum-necessary principles, and HRSA 340B program requirements; coordinate secure connectivity and PGP-encrypted SFTP with client IT and security. \n
- Coordinate with VytlOne data platform, analytics, and 340B business teams, and with external integration and development partners, to align delivery with launch and operational milestones. \n
- Provide technical mentorship and work direction to mid-level analysts, and review specifications and extract designs for quality and consistency. \n
- Contribute to estimation, planning, and status reporting for data acquisition workstreams. \n
- Develop organizational, business, application, and functional process knowledge; understand client data flows end to end to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. \n
\n

- Demonstrated experience extracting data from Epic using both reporting tools (Clarity, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer) and interface methods (Epic Bridges). \n
- Strong experience with healthcare integration standards HL7 v2 (including ADT, SIU, ORM/ORU, and REF), FHIR R4, and SMART on FHIR. \n
- Experience delivering file-based data feeds via PGP-encrypted SFTP. \n
