Job Title Physician – Emergency Radiologist (Open Rank/Track Faculty) Department The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center, Department of Radiology Position Overview The Department of Radiology seeks a faculty Emergency Radiologist who will provide patient care, conduct research, and train graduate and postgraduate students. Duties and Responsibilities Availability on site in the Emergency Department as needed; remote shifts are possible. Contribute to day‑to‑day clinical operations of the Emergency Radiology Division: Provide high‑quality patient care in the Emergency Service. Contribute to clinical and imaging operations related to the Emergency Service. Education, Training, and Faculty Development: Provide clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings within OSUWMC and regionally/nationally. Collaborate with faculty and leadership to develop and refine training opportunities for medical students, residents, and fellows. Serve as mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty. Research and Scholarship: Support clinical and translational research activities and innovation. Serve as PI or Co‑I in grants and/or clinical trials. Serve on departmental and institutional committees to represent research and innovation interests. Requirements M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent. Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Radiology (ABR, ABOR). Completion of a subspecialty fellowship in Diagnostic Radiology or relevant experience in Emergency Radiology at time of appointment. Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio. Background Check Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check; a drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process. Compensation Package Salary: Commensurate with experience; includes bonus and relocation assistance. Retirement Benefits: 14% employer match, supplemental 403(b) and 457(b) accounts.
