Join us and do something you never dreamed possible. MSHA Electrician candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Savage Maintenance Program. You will be responsible for all maintenance and electrical work at our Local Savage Operations. Benefits We provide Uniforms & PPE (laundering included) $150 /year steel‑toe boot allowance annually Excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and profit sharing, paid holidays Paid Holidays & Paid Time Off (PTO) Responsibilities Maintain and execute regular and irregular maintenance schedules on electrical systems around the operation Exhibit knowledge of high voltage switchgear, motors, MSHA regulations, instrumentation, switches, controls, and other electrical components in an industrial setting Work a day shift with flexibility Perform work in a safe manner with minimal supervision Team player with the ability to work with other team members Willing to do any task(s) that require(s) attention Qualifications 1+ years of industrial electrician experience Current MSHA Surface Certification Read, write and understand English Follow written and/or verbal instructions Comprehend electrical drawings Basic computer (XP, windows, excel, etc.) a must Electrical certifications a plus Physical Requirements Work outside in ALL weather conditions (snow, rain, sub‑freezing temps) Climb up and down ladders and equipment safely Comfortable with heights Carry at least fifty (50) pounds Additional Information Savage is an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintains a drug‑free workplace.
