The Job We are looking for a HSE Manager for our Conroe, Texas plant. Some of your main duties & responsibilities: Conduct regular safety inspections and site visits to ensure adherence to HSE regulations and company policies. Collaborate with various departments to develop, implement, and update HSE policies, procedures, and programs. Assist in the facilitation and coordination of HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors. Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety and environmental risks. Work closely with project teams in high‑paced construction zones to ensure safety protocols are being followed. Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near‑misses, providing recommendations for corrective actions. Participate in HSE audits and collaborate with the team to implement improvements. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in safety and environmental management. Who are we looking for? You’ll succeed if: Bachelor’s degree in occupational health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Strong preference for experience in chemical manufacturing or esterification processes. Demonstrated experience conducting safety inspections and writing safety policies. Proven ability to facilitate HSE training programs and promote a safety‑first culture. Familiarity with OSHA standards and other relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, high‑demand environments, especially within active construction zones.
