Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30 | Every Other Weekend Required | Some Holidays Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a Neuro/Neurosurgery focus
• Care for both ICU and IMC patient populations as needed
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, including identification of lethal cardiac rhythms
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two years of inpatient acute care ICU experience within the last three years
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a telemetry examination prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with 100% identification of lethal rhythms)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neurosurgery experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience working with both ICU and IMC patient populations
