Description - What Awaits You

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-ranging from chemistry and hematology to immunology-while adhering to established protocols.
• Scrutinize results for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing when necessary.
• Keep meticulous records of all procedures, train upcoming staff or students, and help maintain the laboratory's quality standards.
• Ensure the workspace is clean and safe, while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP or AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
