Collection Specialist

Collection Specialist Location: RNR Tire Express, Leesburg, Florida, United States About this Position Salary: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour plus weekly bonus opportunity. Minimum 2 years of collections and customer service experience required; experience with Rent‑to‑Own or Lease‑to‑Own is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Responsibilities Help customers acquire ownership by assisting them in staying current on payment plans. Build positive relationships with customers while working to resolve accounts. Communicate effectively via phone, text, and email to set up payment arrangements. Use empathy and negotiation skills to help customers meet their financial commitments. Maintain accurate customer records and follow RNR’s best practices for collections. Conduct field visits to re‑establish communication and assist with payment solutions. Work closely with store teams to ensure customer satisfaction and account resolution. Qualifications At least 2 years of collections and customer service experience; Rent‑to‑Own or Lease‑to‑Own experience is a plus. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Problem‑solving and multitasking abilities; organized and focused in a fast‑paced environment. Tech‑savvy and detail‑oriented; comfortable using computers and tracking account information. Bilingual Spanish/English a plus. Work Requirements Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time. Exceptional hygiene and grooming habits. Flexible schedule required; must be able to work Monday through Saturday. Strong communication skills; able to speak clearly, listen actively, and interact professionally with customers and team members. Benefits Hourly pay plus bi‑weekly bonuses.
