About the Role:
Bilodeau Law LLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our team in Lewiston, ME. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our legal team and making a real difference for our clients every day. Responsibilities:

Draft, proofread, and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings
Manage and organize case files, records, and legal documentation
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys
Coordinate and schedule client meetings, depositions, and court appearances
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
File documents with courts electronically and in person as required
Track deadlines, manage calendars, and ensure timely case progression

Requirements:

Prior experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or in a law office setting preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field is a plus
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Professional, dependable, and client-focused demeanor
