JOB DESCRIPTION:
Radiant Smiles is a beautiful, new dental practice that is committed to providing a positive and valued dental care experience for our patients. We are looking for an outgoing, friendly, team-oriented, and hard-working dental front desk receptionist.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greets patients, in person and on the phone, assesses their needs and addresses their needs based upon established guidelines.
Assists in the scheduling of patients for dentists and hygienists including follow-up visits, canceling, and rescheduling patients, and filling in the schedule.
Coordinates and posts daily schedule for dentist and hygienists.
Administers the patient reminder system.
Assures patient information is up-to-date and accurate.
Processes patients’ paperwork, obtaining applicable information and maintains patient files.
Present treatment plan and collect co-pay
Confidently presenting third party finance options
Entering insurance payments
Knowing Open dental is plus.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED. Post high school courses in a dental or medical related arena preferred.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
1+ years of experience in a medical or dental office with prior understanding of the patient scheduling process is preferred.
BENEFITS:
Estimated Salary: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour based on qualifications.
