Project Manager I or II - Carolinas Dispatchable Generation North and Central Zones (NC)

Job Overview Project Manager I (PM‑I) or Project Manager II (PM‑II) responsible for management or assisting management of all phases of project planning and execution, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, environmental, safety, communications, security, and integration objectives are met. The position may be accountable for a portfolio of “White” or “Green” ranked projects, with higher risk projects assigned only when accompanied by an Enhanced Support and Oversight Plan. Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, oversight and coordination to internal and external organizations (engineering, project controls, estimating, construction management, supply chain, legal, EHS, QA/QC, operations, communications, regulatory, security, fuels, transmission, etc.).
• Structure, lead, or assist in leading all project related meetings and reports (kick‑off, monthly reviews, governance reports) to ensure open communication between team members, key stakeholders and management.
• Present reports to appropriate management or governance team skillfully.
• Plan assignments including scope definition, estimating, schedule creation and monitoring, cost control measures, procurement/contracting strategies, equipment and vendor selection, start‑up and commissioning plans, and integration processes such as turnover to operations and warranty management.
• Execute projects with a focus on Event Free and Operations Quality, according to plan within designed scope, cost and schedule limits.
