Location: Albany, NY
Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 Nights
Pay: $2,437.20/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Coronary Care Unit Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-acuity cardiac critical care setting. This role supports patients requiring intensive cardiac monitoring and intervention. Strong critical care skills are required, with preference for cardiac ICU experience. Epic charting proficiency is mandatory. A competency exam is required shortly after submission. Local candidates are not accepted, and block scheduling is not available.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to critically ill cardiac patients in a coronary care setting
• Perform continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
• Administer cardiac medications and critical care therapies
• Respond to rapid changes in cardiac status
• Collaborate with cardiology and critical care teams
• Follow all cardiac ICU clinical and safety protocols
• Document all patient care in Epic EMR
• Support unit workflow and night shift coverage needs
• Comply with unit dress code and scheduling rules

Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Critical care RN experience required
• Cardiac ICU experience preferred
• MICU experience accepted
• Epic charting experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Must complete required competency test within 24 hours of submission
• Must meet local candidate eligibility rules
• Must comply with required scrub color policy
• Must be flexible with scheduling (no block scheduling)
