ROLE DESCRIPTION: 
As a Customer Care Representative with Cothran Carroll State Farm, you’ll help create the exceptional customer experiences that build trust, strengthen relationships, and contribute to our agency’s growth. This is a customer-facing role for someone who enjoys working directly with people, over the phone and in person, and is committed to helping customers find clear, helpful answers.

You’ll respond to customer needs, explain insurance options, and look for ways to improve customer experience while supporting the success of the office. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys learning, and is motivated to grow their skills and contribute to the agency’s business growth. For driven, sales-minded candidates, there may be opportunities to advance within the office.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options and identify potential gaps in insurance.
• Use exceptional communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business. 
• Upselling of higher coverages or additional lines of business
• Drive the growth of our office Google reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bilingual Spanish- required
• 2+ years in direct, forward-facing customer service experience preferred
• Able to effectively relate to a customer, answer their questions, and anticipate their needs
• Excellent communication skills to assist customers and coordinate with other agency team members
• Proactive problem-solving skills
• Ability to obtain the P & C, and Life, Accident, Health and Sickness Insurance Licenses
