Desired Qualifications:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Michigan license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working in K-5 or elementary school settings, ideally supporting diverse populations
• Strong collaboration skills for working alongside educators, parents, and allied professionals
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for all students

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for elementary-aged students with speech and language needs
• Develop and implement personalized Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation of evaluations, interventions, and student progress
• Consult with teachers and families to develop classroom strategies and foster support at home
• Engage in ongoing communication with school staff and participate in relevant meetings as required
• Stay up-to-date with best practices, compliance, and continuing professional education

This contract offers a consistent weekly schedule of 32.5 hours, allowing you to support students and participate fully in school life while maintaining work–life balance.
