Execo is hiring an ambitious and driven SMB Sales Development Representative to support one of our leading clients in the small business financial services space. Our client is a trusted financial resource for small businesses, helping entrepreneurs make smarter financial decisions and access solutions that support their unique goals. Through a combination of proprietary technology and financial expertise, they help business owners understand their options and identify financing solutions based on their individual needs and eligibility. As an SMB Sales Development Representative, you will play an essential role in delivering an exceptional experience to small business customers. You'll engage with business owners, understand their financial needs, identify opportunities, and support them through the beginning of their journey toward securing funding. You'll work closely with a team of Funding Advisors and Account Executives, helping create a seamless sales process from initial outreach through to a successful handoff. Prospect and re-engage existing small business customers through multiple outreach channels to understand their financing needs and create urgency around potential opportunities. Manage the beginning of the sales process, including initial outreach, discovery conversations, and introducing qualified customers to a Funding Advisor for the remainder of the process. Participate in comprehensive training and quickly develop a strong understanding of the sales process, available financial products, lender offerings, and basic qualification criteria. Become confident on the phone and develop the expertise needed to guide small business owners through the beginning of the financing and application process. Build rapport with business owners and confidently discuss their business needs while helping them understand the next steps available to them. Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure smooth and effective handoffs between small business owners and Funding Advisors or Account Executives. Serve as a liaison between the sales team and small business customers, helping ensure a seamless customer experience. Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, follow-ups, and opportunities. Effectively manage your outreach cadence and pipeline to ensure consistent follow-up and engagement. Achieve monthly sales goals and performance targets.

You may be a great fit if you: Have a minimum of 6 months cold calling experience in the US. Experience in the financial services space is advantageous. Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Are comfortable speaking with business owners from a wide range of industries and backgrounds. Have the ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and independently manage your time. Can think on your feet when faced with new challenges, difficult conversations, or unexpected questions. Have demonstrated the ability to effectively manage an outreach cadence and sales pipeline while consistently working toward KPIs and sales metrics. Are comfortable working toward performance goals and motivated by achieving and exceeding targets. Thrive in a fast-paced inside sales environment. Are resilient, coachable, and able to receive feedback positively and implement it quickly. Hold yourself to a high standard and are always looking for ways to improve your performance. Have a strong interest in building and developing a long-term career in sales. Tech savvy with experience with CRM tools, dialing tools and outreach software.

This is a fully in-person role based in the Scottsdale/Phoenix, Arizona area. We believe there are significant advantages to working alongside peers and experienced team members in person. Being on the sales floor creates opportunities for spontaneous learning, real-time coaching, collaboration, and knowledge sharing that are difficult to replicate in a remote environment.
