The Orthopedic Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic and driven candidate to join our dynamic team as a Physical Therapist. New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.The Physical Therapist will work directly with our patients on restoring their functionality and alleviating their pain. Our Physical Therapist will focus on administering medically prescribed therapy as outlined by treatment plan coordinated with our Physicians. This role requires hands on patient care in an outpatient setting, exemplary customer service and leadership skills with a passion for quality healthcare. Training and mentorship opportunities available for less experienced candidates.We believe every patient should receive the best possible care, our practice offers an array of services specializing in general orthopedics, spine care, sports reconstruction, adult reconstruction and non-surgical treatments. We currently have eleven Orthopedic Surgeons, one Interventional Pain Management Physician, Mid-Level Providers, and a Physical Therapy team who serve patients at four locations within Volusia and Flagler counties.What the Physical Therapist will do:Meets the patient's goals and needs; provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physiciansHelps patient accomplish treatment plan and accept therapeutic devices by administering manual exercises; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activitiesEvaluates effects of physical therapy treatments by observing, noting, and evaluating patient's progress; recommending adjustments and modificationsDocuments patient care services by charting EHRMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocolsMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societiesContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededRequirementsExperience and Abilities:Current Physical Therapist Florida licenseAbility to learn and use Microsoft Office Products, EPM and EHR software applicationsValid Driver's License / Clean driving record / Proof of auto insuranceFull compensation package for Full Time Positions to include: competitive salary, medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD.
