Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, thoroughly explaining each step with empathy and clarity
• Closely collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to provide high-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any reported malfunctions
• Document procedures correctly and maintain precise patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Educational Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Essential Skills

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
