Veterinary Technician

All City Pet Care West is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our growing small animal practice. We recently relocated into a state‑of‑the‑art hospital, doubling our space, upgrading our equipment, and expanding our team. About the Hospital Newly built, modern veterinary facility with updated equipment and expanded space Growing doctor team (currently 5, expanding to 6‑8 DVMs) Small animal practice (dogs & cats) Recipient of the NVA Chairman’s Award for outstanding performance and culture Tenured, award‑winning leadership team with a strong focus on development Monthly and quarterly team meetings with team‑building and growth conversations What You’ll Do Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments Monitor anesthesia and support surgical and dental procedures Perform laboratory testing and operate diagnostic equipment (radiographs, lab machines) Place IV catheters, administer medications, and provide nursing care Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories Support patient care from intake through recovery Educate clients on treatment plans, preventive care, and follow‑up What Makes This Role Different Brand new hospital + growth phase — opportunity to help shape the future of the practice Technicians are trusted, empowered, and highly utilized in patient care Strong emphasis on professional and personal development A team that blends tenured experience with new energy, creating a collaborative environment What We’re Looking For Graduate of an accredited Veterinary Technician program (required) Strong technical skills and ability to work independentlyA self‑starter who can multitask in a fast‑paced environment High attention to detail and commitment to exceptional patient care Positive, team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to contribute ideas Schedule Full‑time Hospital hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM Rotating Saturdays: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM Shifts may begin as early as 7:00 AM Schedule will vary based on doctor rotation Compensation & Benefits Compensation based on experience, skill level, and credentialing $1,000 Sign‑On Bonus Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid time off Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Why Join All City Pet Care West?
