About the Position

License: Not specified. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Med/surg/post op experience - Meditech experience Description: Rapid Response position available for 6 weeks. The role requires a commitment of 48 hours per week. Candidates must possess BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications. No special scheduling or requests for time off are permitted after accepting the position. The unit has 24 beds and a staffing structure of 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, and 1-2 techs. The typical patient ratio is 5:1. The unit handles post-operative assessments and care. Responsibilities include post-prostatectomy care and post-hysterectomy care. Pain management, including PCA and epidurals, is part of the role. Candidates will also be responsible for Foley catheter maintenance. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, compassionate, and flexible. The ability to cope well in a fast-paced environment is essential. Candidates with GYN/Onc and Urology experience will be given preference.
