Job Description:A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.Director of Sales, National Accounts About the job A family-owned premium seafood producer is hiring a Director of Sales, National Accounts to grow its relationships with large grocery chains, foodservice distributors, and restaurant groups. The company is a category leader coming off the best year in its history and is building out its national accounts team. Working from the office, you’ll sell by phone and manage both strategic program sales with the largest grocers and restaurant groups and the day-to-day spot sales that keep accounts moving. You’ll report directly to the President, work with leadership on pricing, and forecast demand ahead of key selling seasons. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor seat, not a team-lead role. The Director title is client-facing, and you’ll have a direct line to ownership. Term: Full Time, Direct Hire Location: North Seattle, WA, USA (Fully On-site) Compensation: $125,000/year base + commission ($200,000+ OTE) Desired Qualifications: 3+ years of inside sales experience selling food products to grocery chains and foodservice distributors Has worked strategically with large grocery chains and restaurant groups as the account lead, on both program and spot sales Comfortable selling by phone from a desk, with the discipline to manage a full book of active accounts Comfortable working within company-set, market-driven pricing and partnering with leadership on program deals Plans ahead: forecasts seasonal demand instead of reporting what already closed An outgoing, social personality who genuinely wants to work on-site 5 days a week with a close-knit sales team Seafood or frozen commodity experience is a strong plus College degree preferred CRM discipline; HubSpot is a plus US Citizens and Permanent Residents are welcome to apply. xhqgsiq Unable to provide sponsorship at this time.
