About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Social to take on a pivotal role in owning and leading the organic social strategy, with a strong emphasis on Instagram. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that is deeply rooted in storytelling, and is designed to grow the company's social presence and brand awareness. This includes creating and overseeing a variety of Instagram content formats, such as Reels, carousels, and Stories, and building a high-performing content engine that leverages existing founder and educational content. The role also involves working closely with the founders to amplify their voice, establish them as thought leaders, and identify trends and content opportunities that resonate with the target audience. Applicants for the Head of Social position at the company should have a proven track record in building and growing organic social channels, particularly on Instagram. A deep understanding of Instagram content, audience growth, and engagement strategies is essential, as is experience in creating content that fosters community, engagement, and brand affinity. The ideal candidate will be adept at repurposing long-form content into engaging social assets, and will have a strong grasp of social analytics and performance measurement. A creative, scrappy, and execution-oriented mindset is a must, along with the ability to operate both strategically and hands-on. Experience in fast-paced startup environments and a background in content creation, media, journalism, or brand marketing are also highly valued.
