Job Description This job is responsible for providing advanced end‑to‑end operational support for securities, loans, exchange‑traded derivatives and over the counter derivatives across multiple lines of business, and cross‑business functional support through the lifecycle of a trade. Key responsibilities include ensuring trading and operational activities are completed accurately and before deadlines, researching and resolving complex issues, and simplifying client interactions. LOB Job Description Provides technical and analytical support in a Global Markets Loan Operations function for one or more operations product areas. Responsible for the analysis and resolution of complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exceptional handling and/or coordination of multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. May manage projects and/or the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services and processes, coordinating necessary expertise across multiple operations functions and/or products. As a technical expert, may also function as an informal team lead, providing work direction and technical guidance to less experienced employees in resolving complex transactions and operational problems. Requires extensive experience in an operations support function with thorough working knowledge of fundamental business structure and operational aspects for specific transactions and products. As a technical expert, will consult on a wide variety of topics across functional and business support lines. Responsibilities Provides operational support for one or more activities within the lifecycle of a trade, including trade processing, trade settlement, accounting and reconciliation, lifecycle events, and collateral management Provides simplified client interactions and deepens client relationships across Global Banking and Markets' clients Completes accurate, timely clearing and settlement of trades with internal and external counterparties including reconciliation management and governance of trade fails and breaks Performs tasks accurately during high volume periods in a team environment Improves and simplifies the client experience, reducing manual touchpoints Supports the implementation of new processes to improve the overall business operating model Identifies and flags potential risks in a timely manner The role involves providing support for the various US based Loan Operations teams in relation to Data Quality, Control monitoring and assistance, automation and process overnight Day‑to‑day actions are more focused on providing managerial support and QA review within the teams Functions could include technical enhancements and process review along with suggestions for enhancements and management of process change Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting Strong Microsoft Office Skills: Excel (vlookup, Pivot Tables, etc.), Copilot, Word & PowerPoint Client facing experience or ability to conduct discussions with Clients in a confident manner Risk minded – able to identify issues and elevate to management Ability to work under pressure in a team environment during critical funding periods Works well in a team environment and maintains focus to achieve the goals of the business Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to interact positively and effectively with all levels of management and associates Strong written/oral communication skills Shares knowledge with others Ability to multi‑task and shift priorities at a moment’s notice Strong organizational and time management skills Strong focus on Operational Risk Desired Qualifications 2 years of relevant experience working with commercial loan products or working in roles involving financial mechanics (e.g., financial reconciliation, trade processing, legal documentation review for reconciliation of operational mechanics) Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs – a continuous learner Commitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive change Participate in and drive collaborative efforts to advance tools, technology, and ways of working to better serve an evolving client base Believes in value of diversity so we can reflect, connect and meet the diverse needs of our clients and employees around the world Skills Attention to Detail Written Communications Data Collection and Entry Oral Communications Record Keeping Recording/Organizing Information Strategic Thinking Active Listening Decision Making Negotiation Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40 #J-18808-Ljbffr Bank of America
