This position is a non-competitive Civil Service position. Nassau BOCES is seeking Teacher Aides for various programs across the Department of Special Education. Full-time positions are available. Responsibilities include supporting the teacher in implementing specialized programs to meet individualstudent goals and needs. Provide instructional support, classroom organization, data collection, and assist in all tasks of daily living and behavior modification. Daily living skills may include feeding, toileting, mobility, etc. Requirements High school diploma. Experience with students with disabilities is highly desired. Salary As per contract.
