Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic – 2nd Shift at our Highland, IL facility. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 3:00pm – 11:00pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The rate for this position is $27.92 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour shift differential. What you’ll do: Install equipment/machinery. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment. Troubleshoot and repair equipment. Complete/maintain maintenance logs and associated documentation. Operate a variety of lifts, etc. Maintain and follow all safety requirements. Maintain and secure tools and repair equipment; maintain/clean work areas. Qualifications: A minimum of one (1) year of industrial maintenance experience. Must have a High School diploma or GED (General Education Degree) equivalent from an accredited institution. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Highland, IL will be considered; active‑duty military service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics. Familiarity with wastewater treatment. Ability to modify or program PLC’s and HMI’s a plus.
