Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support order entry, customer communications, and service operations in a fast-paced environment. This role begins with a strong focus on data entry and order processing, then expands into customer support through email, phone, and chat channels. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for candidates who are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into the ERP system accurately and efficiently
• Process high volumes of order entries with minimal errors
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat
• Assist customers with product-related questions, order status updates, and issue resolution
• Ensure customer concerns are resolved quickly and professionally
• Follow up on customer requests and open issues in a timely manner
• Monitor and process customer orders that are on hold
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to customer interactions
• Demonstrate excellent customer service while following company policies and procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members to support customer satisfaction goals
• Learn product knowledge over time to provide increasingly comprehensive customer support

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of customer-facing work experience, such as customer service, retail, hospitality, or similar roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly:
• Microsoft Outlook
• Microsoft Teams
• Data entry experience (6 months to 1 year preferred)
• Experience in call center, customer support, order processing, or administrative support environments
• ERP system experience
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take on additional responsibilities
