Senior Java Developer

Senior Java DeveloperWe are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java backend development, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, relational databases, and modern software development practices. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications while contributing to application modernization and AI-assisted development initiatives.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).7–10 years of professional Java development experience.Strong expertise in Java 8+ (multithreading, concurrency, collections, generics, lambda expressions, Java I/O).Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.Strong experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.Strong SQL and relational database experience (MS SQL Server preferred).Experience with XML and JSON.Experience using Maven or Gradle.Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and FitNesse.Experience with Docker, Git, Jenkins, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience upgrading applications to Java 21 or newer LTS versions.Python experience for automation or AI/ML development.Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications.Knowledge of application modernization and performance optimization.Required Technical SkillsJava 8+Spring FrameworkSpring BootREST APIsSQLMS SQL ServerMavenGradleJUnitMockitoFitNesseDockerGitJenkinsJiraXMLJSONCI/CDDependency InjectionAI-Assisted Development
