We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team at Body and Spine Easing Physical Therapy Services, located in Lynchburg, Virginia. Work Environment

In our fully-equipped Rehabilitation Center, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment. The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with typical working hours from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and create individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to alleviate pain and improve mobility.

• Monitor patient progress by meticulously documenting treatments and responses, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Educate patients and their families on recovery processes, therapeutic exercises, and the use of assistive devices to enhance self-care and mobility.

• Actively participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, conferences, and memberships in professional organizations to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic spans children and adults grappling with various health conditions, including but not limited to injuries, post-operative recovery, and chronic pain syndromes. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in assessing their functional limitations and developing therapeutic programs that return them to their highest level of independence and mobility.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia or eligibility for licensure.

• Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting, although new graduates with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effectively interacting with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
