Develop goal‑directed treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance, aligning with physician orders and standards. Submit written treatment regimes to be included in the plan of treatment; update the plan of care as patient status changes; co‑sign verbal orders for OTAs as necessary. Create a treatment schedule with defined frequency and duration; coordinate with patient, family, and clinical support staff. Educate patient, family, and caregiver regarding pathology, prognosis, and treatment rationale; supervise OTAs, Home Health Aides, and students in accordance with affiliate and regulatory standards. Requirements Active Michigan Occupational Therapist License (LARA) and current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. OT experience, primarily in acute care with some outpatient. Two Supervisory Reference Forms completed within the last two years. Skills Checklist current within the last year. Education: Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited program.
