What You'll Do:

• Evaluate patients' functional status through assessments, tests, and clinical observations
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance
• Implement therapy interventions aimed at improving or restoring functional abilities
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatments, and home care strategies
• Supervise occupational therapy assistants and students as appropriate
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans regularly
• Recommend adaptive and supportive equipment; assist with procurement when needed
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Promote occupational therapy services within the community and healthcare setting

What You Need:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Michigan
• Prior outpatient experience preferred
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach
